Erion Malaj was born in Tirana on 14.08.1988. He is a lecturer and expert in the fields of law, international relations and international business. Mr. Malaj has completed his Bachelor’s degree in “Law” and Master’s degree in European Studies, majoring in “Diplomacy and International Relations in the EU” from the University of Tirana. He also completed his doctoral studies at “Beijing Foreign Studies University”, and since 2024 holds the title “Doctor of Science” in International Business. For a decade he has been the Director of the Confucius Institute at the University of Tirana and a lecturer. In addition to his academic commitments, he also has experience in the private sector.
Mr. Malaj is the author of several articles in scientific journals, and at the same time writes regularly in Albanian and foreign media. He speaks fluent English and Italian, and is also fluent in Chinese. Mr. Malaj is married and has two children.
